The library is governed by five board members.  The librarian is state certified which allows special access to state funds and library records.  The library installed new carpeting and was painted in 2008.  It is a great fun place to check out!

The goals and objectives of the Creek Valley Public Schools are to provide:

The Lodgepole Lions Club is the town’s service organization dedicated to helping with community activities and needs, and assisting individuals with eye sight problems.’

The Lions Club meets the second Monday of each month at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, located at1011 McCall Streetin Lodgepole.  The meetings start at 6:30 PM with a meal and business meeting.

The Lions Club supports the Lodgepole community in a number of ways each year.

Examples of support include awarding college scholarships to Creek Valley graduating seniors, major contributor to the annual Old Settlers Celebration, serve the Old Settlers barbeque lunch, organize and sponsor the annual Easter Egg hunt, donate to the 4th of July fireworks fund, donate to the Creek Valley high school senior post prom party, donate money to the Lodgepole fire department, and maintaining the horse shoe court in the Lodgepole north park.

The Lions Club holds two annual fund raisers.  They host a pancake dinner in March and sell community birthday calendars starting in the early fall of each year.
